According to Mercedes-Benz, all vehicles of the 124 E10 series are capable. However, models without factory 3-way catalytic converter, RÜF models or carburetor engines are generally excluded.
The following table lists all models that may not be operated with a bioethanol admixture of more than 5 percent by volume. Both refueling of these vehicles must be ensured that only "Super or Super Plus sulfur-free according to DIN EN 228 or E DIN 51626-1" with the marking "contains up to 5% bioethanol" is used.
But this should not be a recommendation from us to refuel everyone else with it (!):
