Der Innenraum war.... zeimlich unansehnlich. ( Unrat, Kleidungstücke, Zeitungen, Pappbecher )... Zudem waren die Scheiben verschmiert..
Das hätte sich nicht gelohnt..

Daimler-Benz chose the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1979 to unveil its next-generation S-Class, offering a wide range, from the 280 S to the 156 hp to the 560 SEL (V8, injection and 240 hp). The watchwords were economy, comfort and safety as these cars were to meet increasingly stringent U.S. safety standards. To do this, engineers worked on the aerodynamics, weight and strength of the body, particularly with regards to any possible lateral impact. Despite the price of the S-Class, the W126 series beat production records with over 800,000 manufactured. The 500 is equipped with the 4.9 liter V8 engine which appeared on the 450 SLC 5.0. Almost immediately, special armored versions and versions with extended coachbuilder, by Duchatelet and Belgian Ronny Coach Building Company became a speciality of this great and powerful car.
As Duchatelet marketed its special limousines under the name \'Carat\', the Ronny Coach Building Company marketed their version under the brand name \'L\'étoile\'. They could be lengthened by 36, 90, 115 or 130 cm, to four or six doors, and seven seats. Each car was of course made to order as per the client\'s wishes, in terms of finish and equipment (materials, seats, bar, TV, consoles, etc.).
This limousine Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL L\'étoile was built in 1990 on a base of a 1987 500 SEL by the Belgian Ronny Coach Building Company, which lengthened it into a four-door limousine. Only five cars were produced. The seller\'s father, a limousine enthusiast, bought it in 1990, the year of its transformation (Ronny Schoutteet certificate from the L\'étoile firm). Since this purchase, the vehicle has travelled a mere 2500 km.
Black in colour, it is equipped with its original untransformed mechanics, alloy wheels, bespoke steering wheel, electrically controlled shelves, a bar, a television receiver, and a comprehensive Audio system. The red leather upholstery of the upholstery also dresses the headliner. In a cozy atmosphere of thick carpets, fine leather and precious wood, this limousine offers a profusion of luxurious, perfectly executed finishes, and a flawless performance, worthy of the L\'étoile brand.
Please note that the car is delivered with a certificate of the constructor l\'etoile and a Belgium custom clearance document. The seller will undertake the process to obtain a Belgium Export Title. This limo is in "as new" interior condition.

Hi Nino,

B+B pioneered the German-led custom coach and tuning of premium brand high performance European motor cars in the mid 1970’s. Picking up the slack after the demise of many traditional coachbuilders in the 1960’s, B+B were not performing back-street customisation, rather bespoke remanufacturing for the wealthiest customers of all.
In many cases, the final price paid for a complete B+B conversion was more than double the cost of a standard model, but counterintuitively this seemed to broaden the appeal to mega-rich buyers for whom money really was no object. B+B offered custom bodywork, interior and mechanical combinations, all of which were suitably enhanced over anything that was coming out of the Porsche factory at the time.
This stunning car left the Porsche factory in spring 1980 as a standard European-market left-hand drive 911 3.3 Turbo and was sent straight to B+B in Frankfurt. Upon completion it was reputedly featured on B+B’s stand at the Geneva Salon having undergone a considerable upgrade programme as you would expect of a car to be displayed at the most important motor show of the year.
The exterior featured B+B’s 935-inspired flat nose with reprofiled wings and Porsche 928 headlight treatment. There were also re-profiled rear wings and doors that featured an engine cooling scoop, a new front spoiler and partial body-coloured rear spoiler. Painted Pearlescent White with silver Turbo graphics, it rode on 15-inch BBS racing wheels.
The cockpit was equipped with heated electric Recaro Sports seats trimmed with leather bolsters and Pascha fabric centres, a white leather B+B steering wheel and state of the art 16-speaker stereo. Mechanically it was enhanced to produce around 370bhp, the finished car costing comfortably in excess of double the list price for a standard 911 Turbo.
Chassis 93A0070474 is understood to have been sold to a member of the House of Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ruling family. Thereafter, it spent most of its early life residing in the underground car park of a prominent London hotel, still on its Kuwaiti plates, before being officially registered in the UK by its second owner on August 16th 1984.
Thereafter it went though two more owners prior being sold to the fourth and most recent custodian on May 1st 1987 at which point the odometer was reading 17,000km. Today this truly exceptional motor car has covered a mere 22,000km and is offered in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition throughout. An unrepeatable opportunity.
your\'s for GBP 39.995.....
